India has more (and larger) people groups with no Christians, churches or workers than any other part of the world. Within India, Bihar State is one of the least evangelized mega-populations in the world. It is considered the graveyard of missions because past missions have yielded such little fruit. New strategies are emerging however that are yielding a spiritual harvest from some of the dedicated seeds sown throughout history!

They are using our audio bible (The Treasure) throughout Bihar in strategically coordinated listening groups. This is what our Indian national partners are saying about our partnership.
The Treasure is an easy and practical way to communicate spiritual messages to places where you may not be able to go. All of the communication forms that we have talked about in preceding lessons can be accepted on the Treasure by those who listen. It is effective communication strategy because;
1-The Treasure allows the story or message to be heard long after the messenger has left.
2- Unlike printed materials, it does not require literacy.
3- The Treasure allows the listeners to repeatedly hear the message and learn it very well. In turn they can tell the story to someone else so it has multiplication potential in this way.
4-They are small for sending or carrying.
5-They can easily go house to house.
6- The Treasure can easily be operated.
7-Some people may be willing to listen to this because it is a motivating tool, whereas they would not be willing to listen to an evangelist or church planter in person.
8-Some people may be closed to a meeting with a known evangelical but willing to listen to the Treasure which is non-threatening.
9-The Treasure opens doors for community receptivity and new opportunities for dialogues and often helps dispel negative attitudes about the gospel or evangelicals.
10-The Treasure can also be good for the edification of Christians and can provide the format for small group classes and teaching.
11-The Treasure assists in the memorization and recall of spiritual stories and text.
