Hello Friends!
I’ve recently traveled to India and Kenya to meet with our national partners. It reminds me of just how blessed we are to be working with some of the most amazing people involved in missions today!! These men are ‘Top Gun’ quality leaders and at the same time incredibly humble. Isn’t that the ultimate character attribute that defines great leaders anyway??
We ministered among the Yadav people living in northern India where 99% of the people are entrenched into Hinduism. Many of them will acknowledge Jesus but the problem comes with John 14:6.
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Wow, that verse causes so many people to stumble. They can not come to terms with the idea that there is only ONE WAY to get to the Father. Fortunately, as they subject themselves to the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will turn their hearts to this vital truth. Friends, this is why the Treasure is critical!!
We heard over and over again how it (The Treasure) makes it easy to understand who God really is. What a joy to be a part of this end time harvest of lost souls. Please keep praying for those who have never heard to have that opportunity. There remains many Yadav who are yet to clearly hear (for the first time!) that Jesus represents the only path. That no other god provides an alternative route unto salvation.
We were also very blessed with a beautiful testimony from the Philippines regarding the impact of the Treasure.
We had given bibles to needy pastors whose congregations need bibles. We also had distributed clothes for their families and reading glasses. A basic medical check up has been conducted with our student nurse from our congregation. But the highlight was the distribution of the Treasure Bibles to the pastors and the elderly non reader brethren. We had a training for them to win souls. Oh Brother they were so excited to receive those Treasure Bibles!! Thank you very much for such wonderful partnership with us in propagating the Gospel in our nation the Philippines especially to the tribal villages and unreached people groups.
